This role supports the modernization of back-office and network operations by enhancing customer experience, improving capital efficiency, accelerating service delivery, increasing revenue opportunities, and lowering operational costs. Within Network Planning and Engineering, the position focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing network infrastructure based on business and operational requirements. Key responsibilities include evaluating existing network capacity, identifying future infrastructure needs, planning for network expansion, and supporting the adoption of new technologies. The objective is to deliver a network that is dependable, efficient, secure, and capable of supporting future growth. The position requires knowledge of network architecture, planning, performance analysis, and optimization. Effective network engineering and forward-looking planning are essential to maintaining stable and scalable telecommunications services. Passive Optical Network (PON) technology uses fiber-optic infrastructure to provide broadband connectivity to multiple end users. It typically follows a point-to-multipoint design, where one optical fiber is shared among several customer endpoints through passive optical splitters. These splitters distribute the available optical signal without requiring powered equipment at the splitting point, enabling efficient and scalable fiber access.

This position involves handling standard issues by following established procedures, previous examples, and general guidelines. Most communication will be with team members and the immediate supervisor. Employees will receive clear instructions and guidance for completing assigned responsibilities. Decisions will generally be limited to the employee’s own area of work and will be reviewed or supervised closely. The position is an individual contributor role within a team, with clearly defined and limited responsibilities. Rotational or shift-based working hours may be required depending on business needs.
